Every keyboard shortcut

Most of these are also in the menu bar, under lite.computer, File, View and Window, which is where to look if you forget one. Search, Refresh and the arrow keys in the sidebar and while presenting are the exceptions. They live in the app itself and have no menu entry.

Moving around

• ⌘K — search. See Finding a page.
• ⌘[ — back.
• ⌘] — forward.
• ⌘R — re-read the Showspace from disk. The app watches your folder and keeps up on its own, so this is for the rare moment it has not caught something.

In the sidebar

Click a page in the sidebar, or press Tab until the sidebar is selected, then:

• Up Arrow and Down Arrow — move through your pages and folders. Nothing opens yet.
• Right Arrow — open a folder. Left Arrow — close it, or jump up to the folder you are in.
• Return — open the highlighted page, or show a folder in the gallery.
• ⌘Return — open the highlighted page in a new tab.

Views

• ⌘1 — the file list.
• ⌘2 — Gallery View.
• ⌃⌘S — hide or show the sidebar.

Reading

• ⌘= — zoom in.
• ⌘- — zoom out.
• ⌘0 — back to actual size.
• C — comment on a spot; Esc to stop. See Commenting on a page.

Presenting

• ⌘⇧Return — Presentation Mode, full screen.
• ⌘⇧F — the Presenter Frame: the chrome goes, the window stays where it is.
• Escape — leave either one.
• Right Arrow, or a click on the page — move to the next part. Left Arrow goes back. Only while presenting.

Showspaces and windows

• ⌘O — open a Showspace.
• ⌘N — a new window on the same Showspace.
• ⌘` — the next window.
• ⌘W — close this window.
• ⌃⌘F — macOS full screen, which is not the same as presenting: the chrome stays.
• ⌃⌘E — Explode.
• ⌃⌘I — Implode.

With the mouse

• ⌘-click a page — opens it in a new tab and shows it. See Tabs.
• Drag a page onto the tab strip — opens it in a new tab where you drop it.
• Right-click a page in the sidebar, or click its ⋯ — open it in a new tab, copy its link, copy its path, or reveal it in Finder.
• Drag the sidebar's right edge — make it wider or narrower.
