The app runs on your Mac and stays there.

The app

lite.computer reads only the folder you point it at. It has no account, it sends no usage data, and it contacts no server to verify your license.

This website

We measure how this site is used, because we cannot run a business blind. The measurement is anonymous and counted in aggregate. We record which pages are visited, which buttons are clicked, and roughly where in the world visitors come from. No cookies, no advertising trackers, and nothing that identifies you personally.

We do not sell or share this with anyone, and we do not build a profile of you from it. It answers one kind of question: how many people read the pricing page, and how many of them went on to download.

The site also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address to send you one message when the app launches, and nothing else. The address is sent to us, and your confirmation is sent to you, through Resend, our email provider. We do not add you to any other list, and we do not share the address with anyone.

When you buy

The checkout and the receipt are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, under their own privacy policy. They hold the payment details; we never see them.

We keep your email address and order number so we can send your license key and send it again if you lose it.

Email we send you

If you give us your email address, we use it for two things: sending your license key, and a short series of messages showing you how to get more out of the app. Every one of them has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your license or your trial.

We do not sell, rent or share your address, and we do not send it to advertisers.

When you write to us

If you email support@lite.computer, we keep the message so we can answer it. A person reads that address.

Asking us about your data

Write to support@lite.computer and ask. We will tell you what we hold, and delete it if you want it gone.
