What you are buying, and what you may do with it.

What you are buying

A lifetime license to use this version of lite.computer, valid for 100 years from the day it is issued. One payment, no renewal.

Personal license: for one person, on all their personal Macs. It is not a household, team or company license: each person needs their own.

Business license: one license for each machine, physical or virtual, that the app is installed on, including shared computers, classroom and lab computers, displays and signs. Machines can be added at any time, at the same price per machine. A license can be moved to a replacement machine once it is removed from the old one.

A company can buy Personal licenses for its people, or Business licenses for its machines. Personal licenses belong to the person and cannot be transferred. Business licenses belong to the company.

What you may do

• Install it on the Macs your license covers.
• Use it for any work, personal or commercial.
• Keep every file it shows you. They were always yours, and they open without this app.

What you may not do

• Resell or publish your key.
• Tamper with the app or try to bypass licensing.
• Use a license beyond what it covers.

Keeping licenses fair

We may check how a license is used, and ask a company to confirm how many machines use its licenses. We may cancel a key that is published, resold, shared or bought fraudulently. Before we restrict a Personal license, we contact you first. If the app itself takes part in a check, our privacy page will describe it before it starts.

The trial

14 days, every feature, no account. The first time the app opens it asks for your email address; we use it to send the setup prompt and a short series of tips during the trial, and for nothing else. Emails about your license, security fixes and changes to these terms go to every customer; tips and news only if you choose them. When the trial ends the app asks for a key. Your folder is untouched.

Warranty

The app is sold as it is. We fix bugs and we answer email, and we promise no particular outcome from using it. Our liability to you is limited to what you paid.

Who you are buying from

The app is made by Veue Management Corp, a Philippine corporation. The sale itself is made by our merchant of record, who is identified at checkout and whose name appears on your statement, under their buyer terms. They take the payment, issue the receipt, and process refunds. See Refunds.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of the Philippines are where any dispute over them is heard. If you are a consumer somewhere with its own consumer-protection law, this does not take those rights away from you.
