Open Settings from the sidebar: click your name at the bottom, then Settings…. The sheet is in two parts, and the headings say which is which.
Photo. Choose photo… picks a PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP for the disc beside your name. Without one you get your initials. The picture is kept on this Mac and is never written into a Showspace, so it does not travel with your folder or reach anyone you share it with. Remove takes it off.
Engraving. The name signed into your license, shown here and in the sidebar. It is read-only. This row is absent on a trial copy, which has no license to read a name from. See Your name on your license.
Explode. One setting, two choices, deciding which screens Explode uses. All screens gives each display one window first, then keeps using whichever display has the most room left, so the work spreads across your desk. This screen keeps every window on the display the window is already on, so your other screens stay free for whatever else you are doing.
License. Shows what the app is running on — your license or your trial. Manage… opens the sheet where a key is pasted or replaced. See Entering your key.
The heading names the Showspace these apply to. Switch Showspace and this half changes with it.
Shown as. What the app calls this Showspace, up to 60 characters. It is a label, not a rename: the folder on your disk is untouched, and this is the name that appears in the switcher, in the breadcrumb, and to your agent when it asks which Showspaces exist.
Mark. A small square image shown beside the name, so you can tell your Showspaces apart at a glance in the switcher. Choose image… sets it, Remove clears it back to the initials.
Colors. Seven to pick from — Gold, Paper, Blue, Sage, Matrix, Kiln and Porcelain. Four are light and three are dark, and each Showspace remembers one of each, so the sun and moon button in the top bar moves between the pair you chose rather than overwriting them. See Themes and night mode.
There is nothing to sign into, and no account. The app asks no server for permission to run, so there is no setting for it.
