Entering your key

Open the license sheet from the app menu, paste your key into the box, and choose to activate.

The app checks the signature on the key on your Mac, against a public key built into the app, which is why activation works with the network off. Once the key is accepted it is stored in your macOS Keychain.

After activation the license sheet becomes a statement rather than a form: who it is licensed to, a short license number in the form LITE-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, when it was issued, and when it expires, which is never.

If the key is refused, copy it again from the email and take the whole block. The app strips spaces and line breaks, so a key that was wrapped across several lines in your mail client is fine.
