Every command your AI has

When your AI connects to lite.computer through MCP (Model Context Protocol), it gets these commands. You never type them. Ask for what you want in your own words, and your AI picks the right one. For examples, see What a connected AI can do for you.

Finding and reading pages

• get_guide. The rules for writing a page, and which Showspace is open. Your AI reads it before its first page.
• list_vault. Every page in the Showspace, with its title, when it last changed, and how many of your comments on it are still open. It also lists your Favorites.
• list_comments. The comments you left on pages: what you wrote, which page and section, and whether you have ticked it done.
• read_file. Reads one page, up to 25 MB.
• search. Finds pages by title, location, or words in the first 64 KB of each page downloaded to this Mac, and finds your comments too. Up to 20 results.
• get_links. What a page links to, and what links to it, from the links in the first 64 KB of each page.
• get_theme. Your Showspace's colors, so new pages match. If you have not chosen any, it says so.
• get_diagnostics. Broken links, missing images and other problems. The same report as Showspace health, plus the state of the Gallery thumbnails.

Each of these works in any Showspace this Mac remembers, not only the open one. Your AI names the Showspace, and nothing on your screen changes.

Switching Showspaces

• list_spaces. The Showspaces this Mac remembers, up to five, and which one is open.
• switch_space. Opens another Showspace by name, so you can see it. Your AI does not need to switch to update one.

Showing you pages

• open_file. Puts a page on your screen, in the current tab or a new one.
• set_view. Switches a window between the reader and the gallery.
• set_presenting. Starts or ends Presentation Mode, the same as Presentation in the View menu.
• set_sidebar. Shows or hides the sidebar.

Arranging windows and screens

• list_windows. Your open windows and their tabs.
• list_displays. The screens connected to your Mac.
• open_window. Opens a new window, on the screen you choose.
• explode and implode. Spreads your tabs into separate windows, and gathers them back. See Explode and Implode.
• close_tab and close_window. Tidies up the tabs and windows it opened.

Your AI writes, renames and deletes pages itself, directly in your folder. These commands are for finding and showing them.
