Every command your AI has

This is the reference list. For what it means in practice, read What your AI can ask the app to do first.

Your agent sees these once it is connected. It picks them itself — you ask for what you want in your own words, and it chooses. You never type these names.

Reading your Showspace

• list_vault — every page: its path, its title, when it changed, and whether lite.html links to it.
• read_file — the contents of one page.
• search — by title, by path and by the text inside your pages. Up to twenty results, best first.
• get_links — what one page links to, and what links to it. Broken links are included.
• get_theme — the colors this Showspace uses, so a new page arrives looking like it belongs.
• get_diagnostics — the same report you see under Showspace health.

Your Showspaces

• list_spaces — every Showspace this Mac remembers, and which one is open.
• switch_space — opens a different one. It takes the name you say out loud — capitals, spaces and punctuation are ignored, so “light speed holdings” finds LightSpeed Holdings. A full path works too, but the name is the point: nobody speaks a Google Drive path. A name that matches two Showspaces is refused rather than guessed at. It only opens Showspaces already on your list — pointing the app at a brand new folder stays your decision, made in the app.

Showing you a page

• open_file — puts a page on your screen. By default it replaces what that window is showing; it can add a tab instead. A page some tab already holds is never opened twice.
• close_tab — closes one tab, in a window it has to name. It is how an agent clears up a wall it built instead of leaving you to close twenty tabs by hand.

Windows, screens and views

• open_window — another window, optionally on a display you choose.
• close_window — the destructive one. The window goes and every tab in it goes too. It has to name the window, and the app's first window is never closed, so you can never be left with none.
• list_windows — every open window: which display it is on, where it is, what it is showing, which view it is in, and every tab inside it.
• list_displays — the screens attached to this Mac and how much room each has.
• explode and implode — see Explode and Implode.
• set_view — switches a window between the file list and the gallery.
• set_sidebar — shows or hides the sidebar. A wall of dashboards usually wants it hidden.
• set_presenting — enters or leaves Presentation Mode.

What is deliberately absent

There is no command to write, rename or delete a file. Your agent already writes files — that is its own job, done in your folder, and the app simply notices. Nothing here gives an agent a second, hidden way to change your work.

Every command works inside the Showspace that is open. There is no verb that reads an arbitrary path on your Mac.
