Favorites

Keep the pages and folders you use most at the top of the sidebar.

To add a favorite, right-click a page or folder in the sidebar, or click its ⋯, and choose Add to Favorites. A card in the gallery has the same ⋯ menu.

Your favorites appear in a list called Favorites at the top of the sidebar, newest first.

A favorite is only a shortcut. The page or folder stays where it is, and your folders look exactly as they did.

Opening a favorite

Click a favorite page to open it. ⌘-click it to open it in a new tab.

Click a favorite folder to open it in the sidebar and show its pages in the gallery.

Click the word Favorites to fold the list away. Click it again to bring it back.

Removing a favorite

Right-click it, or click its ⋯, and choose Remove from Favorites. The page or folder itself is not touched.

If a page or folder is moved or deleted, its favorite stays in the list, dimmed and marked Moved or deleted. Click × to remove it.

For example, if you rename a page in Finder, its favorite is marked Moved or deleted. Remove it, then add the page again under its new name.

On your other Macs

Favorites are saved with each Showspace. Open the same Showspace on another Mac and your favorites are there too.

Each Showspace has its own list.

Your AI can see them

Your AI can read your favorites, so "open my usual report" has an answer. Only you can add or remove them. See Every command your AI has.
