Which files show up

lite.computer indexes files ending in .html. The check ignores capitalization, so REPORT.HTML is indexed exactly like report.html.

Files with any other extension sit in the folder untouched. That includes .htm, Markdown, PDFs, images and documents, and the ._ sidecar files macOS leaves on USB sticks and other non-Mac disks.

Two limits apply:

• 500 pages. Past that the app tells you it stopped, rather than showing a partial folder.
• Twenty folders deep. The health check reports anything deeper.

Symbolic links are not followed, because a folder that links to itself would walk forever.
