When your AI says a page is missing

If a new page is missing from search, wait a few seconds and try again. Click Refresh in the top bar, or press ⌘R, to make the app look at your folder again. Then check its filename and location.

The app needs a moment to add a newly saved file to its index. Wait a few seconds, then ask your AI to search again. If it is still missing, ask the AI to check the file directly in your Showspace folder.

If it is still missing, work through these in order:

  • Is it a .html file? Only .html pages are indexed. See Which files show up.
  • Is it inside the Showspace? Agents sometimes write to the folder they are working in rather than the one you named.
  • Is the folder very large? The index holds 2,000 pages, and the app says so when it reaches the limit.
  • Is it very deep? The app reads folders up to twenty levels down and stops there, so pages below that are not listed. Two or three levels of subfolders is ideal.
