Gemini

Gemini writes complete HTML pages you save into your Showspace, and Gemini Spark on your Mac works with the pages in a Showspace folder you connect. For the app's commands, use Google Antigravity.

Gemini is Google's AI assistant. The free Gemini app for Mac opens with Option+Space, can see your screen and reviews files you give it. Gemini Spark is the agent inside it: it carries out multi-step tasks, runs them on a schedule, and on a Mac works in local folders you connect.

It suits people who want help with work and life rather than code. The Mac app runs on macOS Sequoia 15 or later on Apple Silicon. Spark also runs at gemini.google.com and in the Gemini phone app.

Set it up

  1. In lite.computer, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and open the Agent Helper. Copy its paragraph. In Gemini, open Spark, then Skills, and choose Create manually. Name the skill lite-computer, describe when to use it, paste the paragraph into its instructions, and click Create. Pick this skill when you ask for a page.
  2. In Spark on your Mac, go to Connected folders, click Add Mac folder and choose your Showspace. Grant permission when asked.
  3. Ask Gemini for the complete source of a self-contained HTML page. Copy that source into a plain-text editor and save it with an .html extension in your Showspace. lite.computer shows it as it lands.

Good to know

  • We use Gemini with lite.computer ourselves.
  • With your Showspace connected, Spark can view, edit and organize the pages in it. Ask it to rename, sort or update pages you already have.
  • Spark runs tasks on a schedule, so a weekly plan or summary can come back without a fresh request.
  • For lite.computer, Google Antigravity is the Google agent we recommend. We use it ourselves, it saves pages straight into your Showspace, and its CLI uses all twenty of the app's commands. See Google Antigravity.
  • Gemini also creates images. Ask for photos or illustrations for your page, download them to your Mac, then ask Codex or Google Antigravity to build them into the page.
