Using Grok Bot with lite.computer

Grok Bot is xAI's agent product. You set up named Bots that act like teammates. Each one signs into your tools and carries a job through to the end, coming back to you when something needs your approval. Sales, marketing and operations work suit it as well as fixing bugs.

The work happens on one cloud computer per account, shared by all your Bots, so it keeps going while your Mac is off. Apps for Mac, iPhone and Android let you follow along. You sign in with a Cursor account, because Grok Bot runs on Cursor's cloud infrastructure.

Set it up

Create or open your Showspace in lite.computer first. Copy the setup prompt from the Agent Helper and give it to the Bot. Tell it to use your existing folder and remember its location.
In the Grok Bot desktop app for Mac, open Settings, then General, then Agent, then Execution on Local Computer, and choose Ask every time.
For the daily brief below, open Settings, then Plugins, add Gmail and Google Calendar, and sign in to each. In the task, type @ to attach both.
Ask the Bot for a page as a self-contained .html file and to move it into your Showspace on your Mac. Approve the move when asked, and lite.computer shows the page.

No. The app's connection listens only on your Mac, and a Bot's connectors run on its cloud computer. A Bot writes pages into the folder; the app shows them. It said so itself when asked to connect.
